SimiTolk was born from a simple observation: Maharashtra's shoppers deserved better. While big e-commerce platforms focused on metro cities, tier-2 and tier-3 cities across Maharashtra — Pune, Nagpur, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Nashik, Kolhapur — were underserved. Cash-on-delivery options were limited, Marathi/Hindi language support was absent, and finding trusted local service providers was a challenge.
Founded in 2024, SimiTolk set out to build Maharashtra's own marketplace — one that understands the local shopper. We prioritized COD (trusted by 65% of Maharashtra buyers), added full Marathi and Hindi language support, and built a network of verified local service providers. Today, we serve customers across every district of Maharashtra with 1,500+ products and 500+ service providers.
Founder & Owner
Vikas Gulab Pawar (b. 17 May 2003) is the founder and owner of SimiTolk. He completed his BCS (Computer Science) from Deogiri College, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar and started building SimiTolk in 2024 with a vision to create Maharashtra's own digital commerce ecosystem.
Under his leadership, SimiTolk has grown to serve 50,000+ customers across Maharashtra with 1,500+ products, 500+ service providers, and a complete ecosystem spanning shopping, grocery, local services, event planning, real estate, hotels, and jobs.
