1. Eligibility for Refunds
All products purchased on SimiTolk are eligible for a full refund within 7 days of delivery. To qualify, the following conditions must be met:
- The refund request must be made within 7 calendar days from the date of delivery.
- The product must be unused, undamaged, and in its original packaging with all tags and labels intact.
- Items received in damaged or defective condition must be reported within 48 hours with photographic proof.
- The order invoice or receipt must be available for verification.
- Perishable, personal care, and digital products are not eligible (see Section 6).
2. How to Request a Refund
Follow these simple steps to initiate a refund:
Step 1: Log In to Your Account
Visit simitolk.com or open the SimiTolk app and sign in with your registered credentials.
Step 2: Go to Order History
Navigate to "My Orders" from the dashboard and select the order you want to refund.
Step 3: Select Refund Option
Click on "Request Refund" and choose the reason for your refund from the dropdown menu.
Step 4: Upload Evidence (if applicable)
For damaged or defective items, upload clear photographs showing the issue.
Step 5: Submit Your Request
Review the details and click "Submit Refund Request". You will receive a confirmation via email and SMS.
Step 6: Pickup & Inspection
Our delivery partner will pick up the item within 2-3 business days. After inspection, your refund will be processed.
3. Refund Methods
Refunds are issued through the following methods based on your preference and original payment mode:
Original Payment Method
Refund is credited back to the same UPI ID, credit/debit card, or net banking account used for the original transaction.
SimiTolk Wallet
Receive an instant refund to your SimiTolk Wallet with a 5% bonus on the refund amount for future purchases.
Bank Transfer (NEFT/IMPS)
For COD orders or if you prefer direct bank transfer, provide your bank details and receive the refund via NEFT or IMPS.
4. Refund Timelines
Processing times vary based on the payment method used:
UPI (GPay, PhonePe, Paytm)
24–48 hours after refund approval. Refund is credited directly to your linked bank account via the UPI app.
Credit / Debit Cards
5–7 business days after refund approval. Processing time depends on your bank's settlement cycle.
Cash on Delivery (COD)
7–10 business days via bank transfer. You will need to provide your bank account details for NEFT/IMPS transfer.
SimiTolk Wallet
Instant — credited immediately to your wallet upon refund approval. Use it for your next SimiTolk purchase.
5. Partial Refunds
In certain cases, a partial refund may be issued instead of a full refund:
Damaged Items
If the item is partially damaged but still usable, a partial refund of 20–50% may be offered based on the extent of damage.
Missing Items
If your order contains multiple items and one or more are missing, a proportional refund for the missing items will be issued.
Note
Partial refund amounts are determined after inspection by our quality team. You will be notified of the final refund amount via email and SMS before processing.
6. Non-Refundable Items
The following categories of products are not eligible for refunds:
- Perishable Goods — Fresh vegetables, fruits, dairy products, bakery items, and other perishable groceries.
- Personal Care Products — Skincare, haircare, cosmetics, and hygiene products once opened or used.
- Digital Products — E-books, software licenses, online courses, gift cards, and subscription services.
- Customized Items — Personalized or made-to-order products manufactured specifically for you.
- Intimate Wear — Undergarments, swimwear, and innerwear for hygiene reasons.
- Gift Cards & Vouchers — SimiTolk gift cards and promotional vouchers are non-refundable.
7. Service Bookings Cancellation
For local service bookings (plumbing, electrical, cleaning, etc.), the following cancellation policy applies:
- Free Cancellation: Cancel up to 24 hours before the scheduled service for a full refund.
- Late Cancellation: Cancel within 24 hours of the scheduled tim — a 25% cancellation fee will be deducted.
- No-Show: If you are not available at the scheduled time without prior notice, a 50% fee may apply.
- Provider Cancellation: If the service provider cancels, you will receive a full refund with no deductions.
- Rescheduling: You can reschedule a booking once for free up to 12 hours before the appointment.
8. Event Booking Cancellation
For event planning bookings (birthday, wedding, corporate events), cancellations are handled as follows:
- 30+ Days Before Event: Full refund minus a 5% administrative fee.
- 15–30 Days Before Event: 50% refund of the total booking amount.
- 7–14 Days Before Event: 25% refund of the total booking amount.
- Less Than 7 Days: No refund — the full amount is retained as cancellation charges.
- Rescheduling: Event date can be rescheduled once free of charge if requested at least 15 days in advance.
9. Exchange Policy
SimiTolk offers easy product exchanges under the following conditions:
- Exchanges are available within 7 days of delivery for the same product in a different size, color, or variant.
- The product must be unused, undamaged, and in its original packaging.
- Exchange is subject to stock availability. If the desired variant is unavailable, a refund will be processed.
- Price differences during exchange will be adjusted — you'll be charged or refunded the difference.
- Exchange pickup and delivery are handled by SimiTolk at no additional cost.
- One exchange per order is allowed. Exchanged items cannot be exchanged again.
